Celebrating Excellence in Service

The Rotary Club is proud to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of its members, clubs, and partners through various recognitions and awards. These honors celebrate the dedication, innovation, and impact of those who exemplify Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self.”

Individual Awards

1. Paul Harris Fellow: The Paul Harris Fellow recognition is one of Rotary’s highest honors, awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions to The Rotary Foundation. Named after Rotary’s founder, it acknowledges exemplary service and financial support.

2. Rotarian of the Year: This prestigious award is given to a member who has demonstrated exceptional commitment, leadership, and service throughout the year, significantly impacting the club and community.

3. Service Above Self Award: Recognizing Rotarians who have demonstrated a lifelong commitment to service, this award honors those whose volunteer efforts have made a lasting difference locally and internationally.

4. Avenues of Service Award: This award highlights Rotarians who have made significant contributions in one or more of Rotary’s Five Avenues of Service: Club Service, Vocational Service, Community Service, International Service, and Youth Service.

Club Awards

1. Presidential Citation: The Presidential Citation is awarded to clubs that meet specific goals in membership growth, service projects, public image, and Rotary Foundation support. It encourages clubs to strive for excellence in all areas of service.

2. Rotary Club of the Year: This award honors a club that has demonstrated outstanding service, membership growth, leadership development, and community impact. It recognizes clubs that set an exemplary standard for others to follow.

3. Membership Development Award: Recognizing clubs that excel in attracting and retaining members, this award celebrates innovative membership campaigns and strategies that contribute to the club’s growth and vitality.

4. Community Service Award: Awarded to clubs that have implemented impactful community service projects, this recognition highlights efforts that address local needs and improve the quality of life in the community.

Project and Initiative Awards

1. Significant Achievement Award: This award is presented to clubs that have successfully carried out a project with measurable and significant community impact. It honors projects that can serve as models for other clubs.

2. Rotary International Service Award for a Polio-Free World: Honoring significant contributions to Rotary’s polio eradication efforts, this award recognizes individuals and clubs that have shown extraordinary dedication to the cause of a polio-free world.

3. Rotary Peace Award: This recognition is given to individuals or groups that have made substantial contributions to peace and conflict resolution through Rotary’s Peace Centers or other Rotary initiatives.

4. Environmental Sustainability Award: This award celebrates projects and initiatives that promote environmental sustainability, conservation, and awareness, recognizing efforts to address critical environmental challenges.

Youth and Partner Awards

1. Rotaract and Interact Awards: These awards recognize outstanding service projects and leadership among Rotaract and Interact clubs, encouraging young leaders to continue their commitment to Rotary’s values.
